Site Access & Parking
• All regular tenant, visitor and contractor parking is street parking only unless expressly authorised by the marina operator.
• The yard is an active boatyard and is not to be used for general parking.
• Vehicle entry into the yard is for temporary loading and unloading only, and only where safe and approved.
• Loading or unloading inside the yard during active boatyard operating hours should be avoided unless specifically coordinated with the marina operator.
• Tenants, visitors and contractors must follow the site map, pedestrian gate and Breakfast Creek foreshore walkway route wherever practicable.
• Care must be taken at all times around vessel movements, slipway works, hardstand operations, shipbuilding works, deliveries and maintenance activity.
• Staff parking may be designated by signage on the footpath adjacent to the pedestrian gate, provided approximately 1.2 metres clear width remains between the fence and the vehicle for pedestrian access.
• Berth allocation remains at the discretion of the marina operator, with discussion and consultation with berth holders where appropriate.
• Outside berths are generally prioritised for vessels that actively come and go.
• Inside berths are generally prioritised for less active vessels and longer-term mooring arrangements.
• The working dock is managed by the shipbuilder and all tenants must coordinate courteously and cooperatively with the marina operator and shipbuilder when work or vessel movements are occurring.
• The kitchen, oyster bar area, ice machine and fridge are provided for community enjoyment and approved shared use.
• Food, drinks and supplies held for First Friday monthly functions are not free for general use outside the approved event.
• Any leftover food, drinks or supplies from a First Friday function are to be preserved for the next event unless the marina operator directs otherwise.
• Shared facilities must be left clean, tidy and available for the next user.
Tripcony Slipway + Marina is a prime location for the shared passion, preservation, restoration and construction of timber motorboats. The yard and slipway areas will be actively used to build, maintain and restore timber boats over coming months and years. All tenants, contractors and visitors are expected to support a cooperative, respectful and safety-conscious marina community.
Slipway, Hardstand and Booking Terms
Booking conditions
1. Bookings are subject to availability, weather, tide, vessel suitability, operator acceptance and payment terms.
2. The customer must provide accurate vessel dimensions, weight, hull details, insurance and work scope before attendance.
3. The operator may refuse, defer, suspend or cancel works where safety, weather, insurance, payment, access, active yard conditions or vessel condition is not satisfactory.

Customer obligations • Provide current insurance and emergency contact details. • Remove valuables and secure loose items before haul-out or movement. • Comply with operator instructions, exclusion zones, site map access routes and site rules. • Do not undertake hot works, grinding, spraying, fuel work, blasting or hazardous works without written permit. • Immediately report spills, incidents, damage and safety issues. • Coordinate courteously with the shipbuilder and marina operator where works affect the working dock or access routes. Risk and limitation The customer remains responsible for the vessel, contents, contractors, invitees and disclosed vessel condition. Liability terms, exclusions and indemnities are to be finalised by the solicitor before use. Fees and charges Fees may include booking fee, haul-out, relaunch, hardstand, storage, waste, environmental charges, power, water, after-hours attendance, cancellation fees and recovery costs. Site Rules, Fees and Charging Policy
General site rules
• All persons must follow directions issued by Tripcony Slipway and Marina management.
• No unauthorised access to slipway, workshop, hardstand, pontoons, marina plant or restricted areas.
• Children, visitors and pets must be controlled and may be restricted from operational areas.
• No pollution, dumping, washdown discharge, fuel spills or uncontrolled waste.
• No unauthorised contractors, hot works, spray works, grinding, blasting or high-risk activities.

Tripcony Slipway + Marina operates as an active boatyard, marina and timber motorboat facility. All tenants, visitors, contractors and guests must take care when entering or moving through the yard, particularly during operating hours, vessel movements, slipway activity, shipbuilding work, deliveries and maintenance works.

Charging authority
