Our approach
Experienced Timber Boat Builders
Design: Bill Wright
Bill Wright began working with his father Ron in 1972 as an apprentice boat builder for Norman R. Wright & Sons. He has been working in the industry for more than forty-five years and has continually been involved with designing and building the boats.
Builder: Simon & Co.
Yard: Tripcony Slipway & Marina
Paroz & Co. is a family-owned team of specialist boatbuilders and cabinetmakers, established in 2008. Combining traditional craftsmanship with modern construction methods, the team undertakes new timber boat builds, restorations, modifications, maintenance and repairs from its Breakfast Creek workshop.
Tripcony Slipway & Marina has operated on Brisbane’s Breakfast Creek since 1926. With a proud heritage of building and supporting classic timber boats, the historic working slipway continues that tradition today through specialist marine facilities, traditional cradle slips and skilled local craftsmanship.
